Basic
concept

The main concept is to set up an electronic Market place (Community Portal) where both the tenant companies as well as potential clients can carry out e-Business / e-Commerce operations thereby reaching a wider global market resulting in increased sales.

Detailed Description

The project aims to build a portal by using Open Source Software (OSS) Tools.

The community portal should allow incubatee's to sell their items on-line for reaching the global market. However prior to the selling phase, the incubatee's will be trained or given the skills of managing their businesses on the e-learning platform by giving courses like: Project Management, Budgeting, Marketing etc. When all those skills are being transferred, that's when they can start to doing business globally through the support of the center management until they become confident to manage and sustain their businesses.

The project, will provide more access and flexibility solutions to the community in order to improve their business practices.

„This project will enable the SME's to expand their way of doing business by reaching the global market and by being competitive. This will also increase sales and play a vital role in promoting sustainability within their businesses through the use of ICT's.”
