concept |
The submitted project is for a website (intranet) for Telecom
Namibia’s IT Helpdesk. This website is to enable/introduce
users to the e-business world. It will be used to log calls
via the website instead of calling via telephone. The users
will also be able to access the various application forms
on the website. The calls will be on the website so the users
can check the status of their calls, but they will not be
able to edit/update any of the calls, this is only done by
the Helpdesk Administrators or technicians. Once the call
is closed, the users will receive a courtesy email asking
whether their requests where done satisfactorily. |
Detailed Description

will also be able to access the various application forms

done by the Helpdesk Administrators or technicians. |
“The E-Business project is expected to
result in a higher awareness among our staff as to the
services we provide to them. With the introduction of
the website, users will spend less time on the phone which
is a cut in the TN's expenses as well as promote eBusiness
in Namibia.”
